I guess you’ve heard about adrenal fatigue before. If we continue to pressure ourselves to do tasks not within our capabilities, it would certainly result to mental, physical, and emotional stress. Some people are born with great skills to solve problems in a heartbeat, but not all can be superman. Take it easy on yourself!
Never Saying “No”. You might think that this is an old cliche, but never learning to say “no” actually contributes a lot to the growing stress in people. When at work, there is always that someone who loves to pass the bucket and pass their responsibilities to you and you are just afraid to say no even if you have tasks of your own. At school, there is always that parasite who’s forcing you to answer his or her test paper and you just can’t find the right words to say. It’s not being selfish, but in life it is survival of the fittest by making sure you help yourself first before you help others. Otherwise, you’ll also be one of those people who need to be helped. So, make yourself matter!
There are still a lot of adrenal fatigue causes out there. All you have to do is make a list of what’s making you feel so stressful lately and slowly minimize your exposure with them. If your work is making you feel awful, then it is probably one of those perfect times for a weekend off or probably the time for you to spend a great holiday with your family and friends.
Remember, when you don’t feel good about something at work, you won’t be able to finish tasks and do a good job. Take a break!
